Immersion Cell für den RIGGTEK Dissilio
Das Testen von sogenannten Semisolids - wie Salben, Cremen, Lotions und Gels - ist häufig eine schwierige und zeitraubende Aufgabe. Oft wird hierzu die sogenannte "Vertical-Diffusion-Cell" - auch "Franz-Zelle" genannt - verwendet, die aber aufwendig temperiert und durchflossen werden muss! Die "Immersion-Cell" ist eine von der USP, Chapter <1724> beschriebene Alternative für den Test von Semisolids. Trotz der einfachen und reproduzierbareren Anwendung mit dem USP-Apparatus 2 (Paddles) ist sie weniger bekannt.
Die Vorteile der Immersion-Cell sind:
- Im Dissilio mit einem 200mL - Small Volume Paddle Conversion Kit mit 200mL Flat Bottom Vessel einfach zu verwenden, möglich ist alternativ auch die Verwendung in einem 1l-Vessel.
- Einfaches Einfüllen der Semisolids in die Immersion-Cell. Das gewünschte Probenvolumen ist beim Model A einstellbar.
- Einfache Anbringung der Membran.
- Einfache Temperierung mit dem Wasserbad des Dissolutiontesters.
- Freisetzung mit der Paddle-Methode, kein anfälliges Durchflussprinzip.
- Probenzug wie gewohnt bei der Paddle-Methode (mechanisch oder automatisiert).
Die Immersion Cell lässt sich natürlich mit dem Dissilio verwenden, so dass der Dissilio auch mit dieser Applikation für Semisolids flexibel eingesetzt werden kann - "SIMPLY SMART".
Wir bieten Ihnen auf Wunsch eine der beiden möglichen Versionen an - Model A (mit verstellbarer Kammer) oder Model B mit fixer Kammer. Als Membrane mit 25mm OD sind PVDF, Tuffryn Polysulfone und Strat-M Membrane auf Anfrage erhältlich.
