DECOMPOSITION TEST / DISINTEGRATION (USP 701/2040)
The disintegration test according to USP chapter 701 or 2040 is intended to simulate the disintegration of the tablets etc. by mechanical pressure or "kneading" in the stomach and intestines and is also an important standardized test for dietetic foods.
